The short version: we only collect what we need to make and post your content, we never sell it, and you can delete it any time.
Who we are
Luvaron is run by Tertiair LLC, a Michigan company, which is responsible for your data.
What we collect
Your name, email and shop name. Your password is handled by Google's sign-in service, so we never see it. The website you give us and what's publicly on it, like your logo, colors, services and contact details, plus the shop details you add in Settings. The photos you upload, the posts we make from them, and any changes you ask for, including example images you attach. Messages you send us. How you use the site, like the pages you visit and the buttons you tap (see How we count visits). If you start a plan: which plan, whether it's paid up, and Stripe's ID for your account. Your card details go straight to Stripe, so we never see them.
If you connect Instagram
We keep your Instagram account's ID and username, a login token that lets us post for you, and how your account and posts are doing: how many people saw them, likes, comments, saves, shares, profile visits, new followers and taps on your profile buttons. That includes posts you made before Luvaron, so you can compare, and, once your account has 100 followers, where your followers live and their age range, as Instagram reports it. Questions you ask about your numbers are kept so you can follow up. We never see your Instagram password, and we never read your messages.
How we use it
To make your posts, post the ones you approve, show how they're doing and answer your questions about your numbers, write your weekly recap, learn which kinds of posts work for your shop so new ones lean that way, bill your plan, help you when you write to us, and keep Luvaron safe from abuse. We may also use combined numbers across all shops, never naming a shop, to improve Luvaron and to describe how it's doing.
Who else touches it
A few services help us run Luvaron, and each only uses your data to do that job for us. Google (Firebase and Google Cloud) stores your account, photos and posts in the United States. AI providers, such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, help read your website, sort your photos, write and check your posts, and answer questions about your own numbers. We only use AI providers that don't train their AI on your data. Resend sends our emails. Stripe handles payments. PostHog counts how the site is used, in the United States. Meta (Instagram) receives the posts you approve and tells us how they did.
Who at Luvaron sees it
We may look at your photos and posts to fix a problem, answer your questions or check that posts look right. We don't share them with anyone else.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never use your photos or posts to advertise Luvaron or anyone else without asking you first, and we don't use them to train AI.
How we count visits
We use PostHog to see which pages people visit, which buttons they tap and where setting up gets confusing, so we can make it easier. It records the page, your browser and type of device, and your rough location (country and city), worked out from your internet address. Before you log in, it sets no cookies and doesn't know who you are. Once you log in, it links what you do to your shop's ID, never your name or email, and keeps that ID on your device. It can also record a visit, showing the pages, clicks and scrolling, so we can see where people get stuck. Recordings never show what you type, your photos, your logo or your posts: those are blanked out on your device before anything is sent. On the pages inside your account, they keep only the words on our own buttons and headings. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we don't record anything. Delete your account and we delete what PostHog has about you too.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open. If an account has no paid plan and nobody logs in for 12 months, we email a warning and delete it 30 days later unless someone logs in. Delete a photo and the working copies we made of it go too. Delete your account in Settings and we delete your account, photos, posts and Instagram connection right away. Posts already on Instagram stay there until you remove them. Once you pay us, we keep billing records as long as tax law requires.
Your copy
Ask and we'll send you your photos and posts.
Disconnecting Instagram
Disconnect in Settings at any time and we delete your Instagram login right away. Removing Luvaron in your Instagram settings, or asking Instagram to delete your data, does the same. Our data deletion page at luvaron.com/data-deletion explains how.
Children
Luvaron is for businesses and for people 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
If something goes wrong
If your data is ever exposed, we'll tell you quickly and say what we're doing about it.
Changes
If we make a big change to how we handle your data, we'll show a notice in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Small fixes, like clearer wording, just update the date at the top.
